Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• To be well versed in information related to I-LAP programmes and projects
• Act as focal person for all external queries regarding I-LAP.
• Disseminate all promotional information related to I-LAP activities to stakeholders through effective communication
• To undertake the planning, development and delivery of I-LAP internal and external communications
• Ensure smooth functioning of organisational website by regularly reviewing it; effectively communicating to IT Officer in case of any malfunction or error or updating website content on regular intervals in close collaboration with respective Managers and IT Officer.
• Collecting programme and project data for Publishing of Annual Report in coordination with all Departments.
• Supervising printing of all promotional material such as Annual Reports, Brochures, Pamphlets, Leaflets, Banners, Standees, Organisational Profile, project related Visibility material, organisational souvenirs, etc.
• Maintenance and upkeep of Peace Museum and Peace Library; revamping of Museum décor at regular intervals; procuring books for the Library; promoting visits of both at school level.
• Presenting innovative ideas and suggestions for promotion of Peacebuilding activities
• Maintain rapport with Peace Club members; organise meetings to discuss peace implementing strategies; supervise peace activities; maintain data of all members; keep an updated directory of Peace Club members; contact universities for new members
• Correspond with all external agencies for promotion of I-LAP
• To provide assistance to PRO in planning and arranging of I-LAP events; selection of venue; catering arrangements; formation of guest lists; printing of invitation cards; printing of promotional material; timely dissemination of invitations, informing the media, etc
• Drafting press Releases according to the event and giving it to the PRO for proper dissemination of the same through different media sources; responding to media enquiries and building dialogue with journalists.
• Compiling situation reports, and distributing to relevant stakeholders.
• Design visibility boards and other mediums to ensure I-LAP’s presence at project sites.
• Being the focal point for information at HQ.
• Maintaining lists of relevant and important stakeholders for distribution of organisational news material.
• To represent I-LAP at internal and external events as required.
• Any other relevant task assigned by the Senior Management

• Strong verbal and written skills in English and Urdu language.
• Effective editing skills with excellent expression in English and Urdu language.
• Proficient in Computer software applications, such as Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
• Manage time efficiently.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
• Maintain project calendar and deliver communications within assigned deadlines.
