Job Description:

The Grants officer will:
 Lead the fund raising activities for the organization  Write grant proposals; coordinate with other grant writers within the organization at both international and local levels
 Perform relevant research to identify available authentic grant opportunities and develop strategies to optimize the grants funding process
 Develop public relations strategies and networking with potential funders including but not limited to the UN, INGOs, Embassies, Government bodies in Pakistan and international funders.  Analyze funding trends locally, regionally and internationally and make recommendations.  Monitor paperwork and other related documents connected with grant-funding process and registration as IP with funders  Meet reporting requirements on all fund raising interventions Real Medicine Foundation is an equal opportunity organization. Skills Required:

The applicant must have  A minimum of 5-year working experience in the development sector, preferably in the UN, INGOlocal NGO sector.  Experience in grant proposal writing, budget planning and optimizing funding opportunities. Desirable is a record of accomplishment of winning grants/funds.  A strong command over written and verbal communication in English language  Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a professional and confident public speaking ability; desirable would be some experience in the field of public relations/marketing  Proficient in using computers with related knowledge of software programs and internet  Able to work independentlyin a team with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, work under pressure and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
